A hóvihar borzolja a kedélyeket, majd egy felügyelő érkezik, hogy bejelentse: a Culver utcai gyilkos újra ölni készül, a nyomok pedig a panzióba vezetnek. A nyolc ember a panzióban reked, hóval eltorlaszolva a külvilágtól. A gyilkos tehát közöttük van. De melyikük az? Mindenki gyanús.

For the 14th time, the performance of the famous Symphony No. 9 will dominate the OPERA’s New Year celebrations. In 2027, the programme will be completed by two further classical works: Beethoven’s overture, also enhanced by Mahler, and a cello concerto by Haydn, the latter of course featuring an OPERA soloist.
A century ago, the world first encountered this remarkable opus, a work that soon became one of the cornerstones of twentieth-century musical innovation. Premiered in 1926, the singspiel is a milestone in Hungarian music history: its composer, Zoltán Kodály, fulfilled his aspiration to elevate Hungarian folk song of ancient origin to the same status as classical music, by virtue of its equivalent values, placing it on the stage of the nation’s Opera House.
