Miért, kinek a megbízásából, miféle nemzeti érzéstől vezérelve készült ez a gyerek-ember a császárgyilkosságra? Kinek származik ebből haszna, kiket erősít meg a merénylet?
Az író egy izgalmas krimi okkeverésével nyomozza végig az esetet: hogyan válik csöndes forradalmárrá egy nagypolitikától távol álló, csak munkájának élő ember.
