Koltai Róbert felejthetetlen filmje ezúttal Dés László nagyszerű zenéjével musicalként elevenedik meg. A vállfás Gyuszi bácsi nemcsak serdülő unokaöccsét, hanem bennünket is végig kísér a 60-as évek elejének Magyarországán, miközben különleges helyszínekkel, jellemekkel, élethelyzetekkel ismerkedhetünk meg. Ez a derűs történet egyben egy kis ember szenvedéstörténete, egy igazi pesti vagányé, akinek alakjában jól ismert hősök köszönnek vissza: A tizedes meg a többiek főhőse, A régi idők focija Minarik-ja, természetesen mindenek előtt Koltai Róbert filmbéli figurája. Az előadás egyik érdekessége, hogy a filmes dramaturgia nem technikai eszközökkel, hanem az élő színház lehetőségeivel és erejével valósul meg.
