Tamási Áron tudta a választ, el is árulja nekünk regényciklusa végén. A mű ezen vezérgondolata az egész előadást végigkíséri, amelynek során a furfangos, életrevaló székely fiú mulatságos és megható története elevenedik meg előttünk a Hargitától az amerikai nagyvárosi létig.
A székely - akárcsak Ábel - nem adja fel egykönnyen. Ragaszkodik ahhoz, ami az övé. Erdőhöz, állathoz, szerelemhez, anyjához, apjához – és mindenekelőtt a Hargitához.
A zenés színpadi játék nem kisebb feladatra vállalkozik, minthogy Ábelt elkísérje a teljes úton önmaga megismerése felé. Családi színház, minden korosztálynak ajánljuk.

For the 14th time, the performance of the famous Symphony No. 9 will dominate the OPERA’s New Year celebrations. In 2027, the programme will be completed by two further classical works: Beethoven’s overture, also enhanced by Mahler, and a cello concerto by Haydn, the latter of course featuring an OPERA soloist.
A century ago, the world first encountered this remarkable opus, a work that soon became one of the cornerstones of twentieth-century musical innovation. Premiered in 1926, the singspiel is a milestone in Hungarian music history: its composer, Zoltán Kodály, fulfilled his aspiration to elevate Hungarian folk song of ancient origin to the same status as classical music, by virtue of its equivalent values, placing it on the stage of the nation’s Opera House.
