Eljátssza a gyermekeknek, hogyan változott át a hajdani szép ifjú herceg, a gonosz Egérkirály harapásától. Marika szeretettel dédelgeti a különös figurát. Éjféltájban visszalopódzik játékaihoz. Könyökével betöri a vitrin üvegét, a fájdalomtól elalél. A szoba varázslatosan átalakul. A fenyőfa megnől, a sok játék megelevenedik. A sötétből előrontó Egérkirály hadával megtámadja a játékokat. Diótörő harcba száll ellenük. Marika segítségével elkergeti az egereket. Kettesben mesés utazásra indulnak...

The series launched in the 2025/26 season focuses on composers whose operas receive special attention during the season. Yet there are many singers who do not find a role in the works of these masters, but who would gladly sing from their rich vocal palettes.
