Nem kevesebbre vállalkozik az író, mint hogy parodisztikus elemekkel teletűzdelt, meghökkentő fordulatokban bővelkedő groteszk-költői játékban ábrázolja a XX. századi történelem, társadalom és életforma bonyolult változásait. Három nemzedék három történelmi korszak: nagyapáink immár poros, megalkuvásokkal terhes, nevetségesen szolgalelkű világa, apáink bukott forradalmi illúziói, zagyva handabandázásba menekülő jövőtlensége, és az ifjú generáció – hamleti töprengésekkel teli –, a világot „kizökkent" állapotából a rend újbóli visszaállításával megmenteni akaró bohóctréfái.
A három nemzedék konfliktusa tehát abszurd családi komédia: a fasizmus, a terrorizmus veszélyeire figyelmeztető tragikomédia.
A többrétegű, sokfajta asszociációt ébresztő játék elgondolkoztathatja nézőit, miközben jól szórakoztatja is őket. Olyan mű, melynek élményét hazaviheti magával a néző.

For the 14th time, the performance of the famous Symphony No. 9 will dominate the OPERA’s New Year celebrations. In 2027, the programme will be completed by two further classical works: Beethoven’s overture, also enhanced by Mahler, and a cello concerto by Haydn, the latter of course featuring an OPERA soloist.
The series launched in the 2025/26 season focuses on composers whose operas receive special attention during the season. Yet there are many singers who do not find a role in the works of these masters, but who would gladly sing from their rich vocal palettes.
Two giants of Baroque music meet during the Advent season in a performance by the OPERA Orchestra and Chorus. Bach’s well-known Magnificat is performed in its original version, in E-flat major, supplemented with movements specifically tailored to the festive season by the composer himself.
